New York City’s most sought-after private members’ club, Zero Bond, is opening its doors to guests of The Mercer thanks to a partnership between the hotel and Scott Sartiano, founder of Bond Hospitality and owner of the club.
“The Mercer and Zero Bond embody New York City’s energy, creativity, and commitment to excellence,” Sartiano said in a statement to Travel + Leisure. “I built Zero Bond with the same focus on service, creating a space where culture, conversation, and connection thrive. The Mercer shares this vision, making our partnership a natural fit […] It’s a chance to create something truly special together, blending our shared values to offer new experiences at the hotel that feel both intimate and dynamic.”
Zero Bond opened its doors in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and quickly became New York’s it-club, attracting celebrities like Taylor Swift and Tom Brady. It offers a social workspace, dining experiences, and personal care services across 20,000 square feet. Sartiano joined The Mercer as a partner at the beginning of 2025, sparking the partnership between the hotel and the club.
Now, guests staying at the iconic SoHo hotel can drop by Zero Bond, which is located just a couple of blocks away on Bond Street, for the entire duration of their stay. Conversely, Zero Bond members can get personalized concierge services at the hotel along with preferred nightly rates. The partnership has forged a link between two of SoHo’s buzziest hospitality destinations, and Sartiano hopes that the move will help guests feel more connected with the city.
“More than anything, I hope guests walk away with a deeper appreciation for the level of hospitality, community, and culture that defines both The Mercer and Zero Bond,” Sartiano said. “At their core, both brands are about creating experiences that feel personal and effortless, whether you live in New York City or are just visiting […] Whether it’s the warmth of the space, the attention to detail, or the energy of the people inside, I want them to feel like they’re stepping into something that is both welcoming and distinctly of this city.”
Sartiano is also behind The Mercer’s eponymous Italian American restaurant, which opened in 2023.
